Sylvia Lee Muncrief, 87, of Quanah, passed away Thursday morning, October 2, 2025, in Childress, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 7, at First Christian Church in Quanah, with interment following at Quanah Memorial Park. Visitation is scheduled from 6:00–8:00 p.m., Monday evening at Smith Funeral Home.

Sylvia was born July 15, 1938, in Bromide, Oklahoma, to Luther James and Ruby Alene (Whitmire) Muncrief. She worked as a hairdresser and was the proud owner of Sylvia's Style Shop for many years. A devoted member of First Christian Church, Sylvia will be remembered for her kindness, faith, and service to her community.

She is survived by her brother, Russell Karl Muncrief; nephews and nieces, John Muncrief of Vernon, Jim Muncrief of Gun Barrel City, Jana Sanders and Judy Muncrief of McKinney, and Wayne Muncrief of Lubbock; along with numerous great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, R.L. Muncrief, J.E. Muncrief, and Doyle Muncrief.
