Tommie Lee Mitchell age 76 of Chillicothe, TX. Passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020 in Wichita Falls, TX.

Graveside services will be Friday, April 10, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Chillicothe Cemetery under the direction of Sullivan Funeral Home. Officiating will be Rev. Robert Thomas.

On August 5 ^th, 1943 in Quanah Texas the Rev Tom Longmiles and Annie Lee Paul were blessed with a precious baby girl named Tommie Lee. At a very young age she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She attended school at Fred Douglas in Chillicothe Texas, and Booker T. Washington in Vernon Texas.

In 1961 she married John Wesley Mitchell in Quanah Texas and to this union 4 children were born; 1 son and 3 daughters. Tommie Lee had many jobs throughout the years, but her most importance job was being a loving, caring and nurturing mother to her children's and Grandchildren's. On April 5 ^th, 2020 she entered her eternal home in heaven, she leaves to cherish her legacy and memory her Children's-John W. Mitchell (daughter Ida Mae) of Quanah TX, Wanda (Jean)Mitchell of Vernon TX, Peggy Valentine (son Phillipe Valentine), Bridgett Mitchell all of Ft Worth TX. Grandchildren's-Zachary Mitchell (Desiree) of Quanah TX, Justin Mitchell (Chelsey) of North Carolina, Tevin Mitchell (Anjelica) of Vernon TX, Sophia Valentine of Arlington TX, Felisha Valentine, Valentino Valentine, Estretla Garcia all of Ft Wort TX, Shanice Watkins of Quanah TX, Shanie Watkins of Dallas TX, Great grandchildren's-Davon, Ajah, Alayah, Zayne, Taizlee, Selma, Niaoma, Aaliyah, Aubrey, Brilyn, Messiah, Josh, Henry, Don, Phillipe Jay, Skye, Liam, Brother-David Longmiles (Bernice) of Ft Worth TX, Sisters-Mae Helen Phillip of Childress TX, Ethel Wilson (Donald Wilson) of Chillicothe TX, Special friends-Valerie Williams of Ft Wort TX, Chloe Coomes, Matthew Hawkins both of Quanah TX, a host of nieces, nephews and other close relatives and friends.

She's proceeded in death by her parents, 5 Brothers- Salis and Paul Longmiles, Harold Longmiles, Tommy Longmiles, George A. Longmiles, 2 Sisters- Ruthie Lee Brown, Arnie (Pooh Pie) Smith, beloved Grandsons/ Granddaughter Aonathan Mitchell, Terrance Mitchell, Taylor D. Garcia, and Karen Mitchell.
