Victoria Marie Cox, 74, of Quanah, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, November 9, 2025.

A graveside service celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Goodlett Cemetery.

Vicki was born on May 20, 1951, in Quanah, Texas, to John James and Oleta Elizabeth (Leonard) Welch. She married the love of her life, Doug Cox, on March 20, 1970, in Quanah. Together they shared 53 wonderful years filled with love, laughter, and family. They raised two children, Amanda and Dustin, who were her greatest joy.

Vicki was a talented hairdresser who made lifelong friends through her work. She had a gentle heart and a creative spirit. She loved spending time camping with family, working on embroidery projects, and doting on her grandsons. Her home was always filled with warmth, kindness, and the wag of her beloved dog, Kiki.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Duncan of Quanah; son, Dustin Cox of Wichita Falls; grandsons, Connor Cox of Wichita Falls and Devin Cox of College Station; sisters, Linda Duncan and Cordie Cunningham, both of Quanah; sister-in-law, Sharon Tinney and her husband Buzz of Brady, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Doug; brother, John David Welch; and sister-in-law, Jeanette Braddock.
