Virginia "Gene" Karr age 97 of Quanah, TX. Passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in Crowell, TX.

Service where held Friday, January 14, 2022 at 10:00 am at Big Valley Cemetery under the diction of Smith Funeral Home, Quanah, TX.

Virginia was born March 2, 1924 in Hardeman County, Texas, she was the daughter of the late J. W. Armstrong and the late Minnie Armstrong. She married Rufus Karr on July 7, 1946 in Chillicothe, Texas he preceded her in death on July 23, 2002. She had been a resident of Hardeman County all of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church, a life long member.

Virginia is survived by her son Gregg Karr (Carla) of Quanah, TX. two grandchildren Tosha, Keisha, and six great grandchildren.
