Wincel Brooks, 76, of Iowa Park, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2021. A graveside service will be  held at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 7th, 2021 at Quanah Memorial Park.  Mr. Albert Motsenbocker will officiate.

Wincel Lavarl Brooks was born September 23, 1944 in Santa Ana, Texas to Wincel W. Books and Jennie Ruth Huffman Brooks. He was a computer operator with AT&T for many years; and he served 3 years in the United States Army. Wincel was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter, Frances Welch of Dallas; a son, Patrick Brooks of Iowa Park; and a brother, Dennis Brooks of Iowa Park.

Wincel was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Gayle Daugherty Brooks.
