Zona Lousie Devoll, age 90, of Quanah, passed away Sunday morning, November 22, 2020, at her residence.

She was born September 19, 1930, in Hardeman County, a daughter of the late Roy and Nora Reese.

She married Delbert Ray Denison with whom she had 4 children; Devonna Tabor, David Denison, Wayne Denison, and Wynn Allen. Following Ray's death, she married her current husband, Ellis Devoll.

Zona was a faithful member of the Quanah Church of Christ. She was a wonderful homemaker and bookkeeper for many years while also working at the First National Bank until she retired.

She was always working on something. She loved to volunteer at children's homes where she made clothing items and gifts. She looked forward to her ladies bible classes every week. Zona loved to host social gatherings and holidays at her house. She enjoyed painting Ellis' wood art and creating her own line of handbags. Zona would sew, knit, and crochet as much as possible.

Zona was a servant and a helper. She wanted to tell everyone about Jesus and what he had done in her life. She had a strong faith that never wavered.

Zona is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ellis Devoll, four children, fifteen grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Nora Reese; brother Pete, and sisters Merna and Edith.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2020, at Quanah Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Quanah Memorial Park.
