Linda Faye Brandon passed away Friday afternoon, April 10, 2026, in Wichita Falls, Texas.
Linda was born June 15, 1944, in South Gate, California, to Betty Lenora Bradley and David Quinton Williams. Linda was raised by her mother & step-father Wes Hoxeng from a very young age. She married James Brandon of Quanah, Texas. Linda & James were married for many years before he passed away in 1998. After the kids were grown, Linda decided to go to college. She graduated with her degree in education. Linda worked as a dedicated school teacher for many years before her retirement.
She is survived by her children, Kem Lopez, Bobby Brandon, Danny Brandon, and Jennifer Brandon; grandchildren, Amber Bussey, Tabitha Shinn, Kara Allen, Carissa Wesley, Alyssa Wilson, Miranda Brandon, Jarret Garza, Cadyn Garza, Rachel Brandon-Nava, Colby Brandon, Emily Lundy, and Audrey Brandon; and numerous great-grandchildren, Nora, Kasey, Caden, Maddy, Tanner, Trent, Maelee, Maloree, Claire, Carter, Brianna, Brysan, Aidan, Evelyn, Corbin, Emma, Rylee, Wyatt, and Marissa.
She is also survived by her siblings, Stephen Hoxeng, Greg Hoxeng, and Larry Hoxeng.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, James Brandon; and her grandsons, Travis Snider and Bryan Snider.
Linda dearly loved her family. She loved talking about all her grandchildren & great grandchildren. She also found great joy in her love for animals. When she was still capable, she always insisted on cooking a meal for all.
